Little Gems provides childcare from birth onwards, Monday to Friday, with availability before school, mornings, afternoons and after school.
I offer flexibility around the childcare hours required by individual families, subject to availability.
I also provide drop-offs and pick-ups at Camp Primary and Nursery School in St Albans.
I offer government-funded childcare for eligible families from 9 months to 4 years.
I also accept payments through the Government Tax-Free Childcare scheme.
Funding and payment options can be discussed as part of your initial enquiry, alongside your child's eligibility and individual childcare requirements.
Meals are homemade from scratch, using fresh fruit and vegetables, with meat sourced from a local butcher.
Menus and portion sizes are planned with appropriate government guidance in mind, while still making food enjoyable, varied and child-friendly.
I can cater for dietary requirements, allergies and individual dietary preferences.
Days at Little Gems aren't confined to my home.
Depending on the children, their interests and our plans, experiences can include parks and playgrounds, farm trips, soft play, community adventures, nature and outdoor experiences, baking, creative activities and more.
Children's privacy matters to me.
I do not share photographs of the children in my care publicly or use them to advertise Little Gems.
I also choose not to publish photographs of the inside of my childcare setting online. This helps protect the privacy and security of the children and families I work with.

Little Gems is registered with Ofsted and works in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
